Orange Mix Vegetable Rice Recipe






Appliances you will need:
Rice cooker pot with measuring cup


Ingredients:
  • 3 cups of long grain brown/white rice
  • 1 box of chicken broth
  • 1 pack of Sazon Seasoning
  • 2 cups of frozen mixed vegetables






Butter




  • 1 Bag of frozen vegetables
  • Chicken Granules

Preparation:




  1. Measure 3 cups of rice with rice cooker measuring cup and place it in the pot
  2. Rinse rice under warm water to remove any debris left during packaging.
  3. Add water until it reaches the level of 3 cups. (Notice inside of pot has measurements for liquids)
  4. Add Sazon, butter, & chicken granules ( chicken cubes crushed)
  5. Stir all ingredients, cover and turn on Rice Cooker by pressing down the on level/button.


ADDING THE MIX FROZEN VEGETABLES:


About 15-20mn check to see if rice has reached the steaming phase.


The method to check this phase is by checking the position of the level.


 There will be a clicking sound notifying you and also the ON level will be in an upward position.
At this time you will add the frozen vegetables and mix it evenly throughout the rice.


(Do not add vegetable until the rice has reached the steaming phase)


Cover and let it steam for an additional 20mn.









Serve with any seafood or meat of your choice.
